Welcome to our house
|
The Junction Restaurant occupies a charming 150-year old home which originally was a Plantation Home. The house was built before the Civil War and during the 1880's
was given as a wedding gift to Sally Thomason and Jeremiah Ward. The home became The Junction Restaurant in 1975, at which time extensive renovation was done. It opened in 1976. The large attic was converted into a unique upstairs dining room.

Parts of the original home are still evident throughout. Look for the square nails near the salad bar downstairs. The skylight upstairs, which is now occupied by a beautiful arrangements of plants was a one-man lookout tower used in times of attack.

The Junction Restaurant combines the charm and beauty of another era while offering you delicious entrees and desserts.
The Junction Restaurant is owned by William Wood and William Wood II of Huntsville. We can serve large groups and have facilities to hold private parties.
The Junction Restaurant is closed on Wednesdays as well as July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
